Do you know someone with Autism? Down Syndrome? Or Cerebral Palsy?
Chances are, you do.
And these are just a few of many intellectual and developmental disabilities we proudly serve.
The Arc of Northern Shenandoah Valley serves as a collective voice for all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, working with families, businesses and members of our community to create opportunities for inclusion and participation. We believe that our community is greatly enriched when our friends with developmental disabilities are seen as valued members and contributing members of their communities.

I am so grateful for the Arc of Northern Shenandoah Valley. Though them, I was able to meet Niki Pangle. She has helped me and my family in so many ways. As a special needs mama, sometiems the roads we need to travel are very unclear. Niki was like my travel guide down these unclear roads. She helped me understand the waivers and different programs that were available to my son. Niki also helped me when I decided to go down the path of getting an Autism service dog for my son. I honestly don’t know what I would do without her help. Because of all she has done and the help she has given, this Autism Mom can breathe a little bit easier because I know we have done everything possible to help keep my son safe and to give him the best quality of life possible. I would like to thank Niki Pangle and the Arc of Northern Shenandoah Valley for all they do for special needs families!
